Isn't this the classic "dialog-box" problem when programmers design UI and why dreaded things like "product" teams are needed? I often explain why Buzz itself appears so complicated to new-comers with this phenomenon: Because it has a programmer mindset to it, at least not as much of a "bang-on-this-to-produce-sound" mindset as other software.
I know from my dabbling with Reaktor, that sometimes I want to get results, not fool around labeling stuff in my GUI. Later I'll forget what a knob does and have to reverse-engineer the whole thing. Uuuuuuurrrgh!

Oh, I hate writing documentation. It's soul destroying!
I'm going to get it to the point where most of the essential stuff is covered and then let it out. Docs will have to be a work in progress or this machine will never see the light of day!
