Buzz in Linux.. again.

Post by commadore65 »

Wondering if anyone has had luck with buzz with wine recently. Thinking of getting back into music and could install a VM but if linux users who aren't such n00bs like me have got it to run any advice would be welcome.

Yes, I know I could use buze for older projects.

Haven't tried recently, but was unsuccessful last time. You're probably better off running Buzz in a Windows virtual machine though.

As a Linux professional, there is nothing I want more than to get completely off Windows, and Buzz is essentially the only thing holding me back.

That's interesting. I'd heard the name but didn't realise it would run Windows stuff.

Runs perfectly via Wine (Xubuntu 16.04 64bit.). Talking about the old 1.2 version with overloader. Have to say that all VST/VSTi plugins in my collection work smoothly as well.
