new machine: Snowglobe Parambulator

Post by snowglobe »

Simple little convenience utility for aggregating parameters from different machines. Not much of a peer machine (pattern just has a dummy param); basically it is just for one-stop-shopping for viewing or mouse twiddling needs. Might add MIDI assignment capabilities someday.

looks like this
download (includes source)

stick it in generators.
standalone / doesn't require snowglobe core.

Advisory: allows you to target tracks that do not yet exist --> can cause Buzz to throw scary-looking errors, maybe even crash a machine.

teh awesomeness! thank you!

I'll be definitely checking it out tonight!

this will definitely be usefull for big machine setups, especially for live playing, where i have only one screen and can have an overview of the relevant midi controller assigned parameters of machines, and not have a cluttered screen with dozens of machine parameter windows.

i have not even tried it yet, but i'm already excited to check it out! :D

Ooohh!
Name of the paramters. One of the few things I've been missing in PeerCtrl.
I'm already begging for midi before even having tried it.

Right? You've got all those peerctrl sliders, but wait ... which one was for adjusting cutoff of qsamo33 again?

It's almost like it was made especially for you ;p

Also: shout out to unz for bug-hunting assistance (as well as suggesting Parambe for the short name  )

Yes, i also miss the option of renaming parameter (or adding short description in bracket). For more complicated assignments, description like: adding tention, filtering drums, etc.. would be nice.

It's how I always wanted patternXP to work on the front-end. Great addition to the peer tools.
