Hey, yes, really, some sounds remind to buzz synths. Really avantgarde.
In the nineties a friend of mine had a sampler named "Acid sampler, the 60ies", perhaps silver apple had a song on it. But as I remember the songs of it were a bit more full of guitars and melodic. Who knows ....
