Isolate left and right from a machine?

Post by xilyax »

I am trying to use a delay for 0.1 - ~20 ms on the right or left channel for a stereo expansion effect and can manage to control full left and right in the Master from the original machine and the delay, but I'm not sure if it's mushing the whole stereo to left and right or isolating just the left and right of the sources in the Master.

Is there a surefire way to isolate left and right that anyone uses/can think of?

kibibu's Stereo Tools would be just the thing - https://buzz.robotplanet.dk/machineinfo.php?id=7833
More specifically 'kibibu left' and 'kibibu right' for isolating the left and right channels respectively

I use mixio for this usually, but IX strip is another good option. It's pretty much the best channel strip in the buzz ecosystem imo.
