have a same problem on Firefox, trying to downloads latest v47 version.
Maybe its a false positive, but when i started scanning for VSTs
it tried to call 140.82.121.5 which is GitHub domain.
It may be a reason why its treated as dangerous behaviour

P.S. it is reported for scan.x64.exe
Hmm, download works here with Firefox, also no problem with Defender. Perhaps the scanned vst calls to github?

Chrome 'blocked' it for me, but could just rename the .crdownload to .zip in my downloads folder to grab it. Windows Defender happily allowed it though. Sure it's just some compression thing triggering the heuristic scan or just the methodology of it recursively stepping through .dll files in the Program Files folder makes it seem like similar behaviour to malware

Downloaded the update (telling Firefox to ignore the warning). Installed it. VST3's are now showing up.

However, I'm having problems with recording automation. As in, Buzz sometimes just freezes entirely when trying to play back automation just after it's been recorded. I've been having issues with this prior to the update, as well, so it's not new as of the latest version.
