If you make a diff of the changes you make, then other ppl could recompile the GUI to include it if they want, without having to choose between updates from oskari and your dll's. (actually, I'd like the diff for the "hide new sequencer" mod you made to be available)

Like to see that progress too.
Would it be possible (may be you are rolling your eyes now, but my knowledge how everything intertwines in buzz is very poor) to do the VU-meter spice up as a single, in ones own theme implementable part?
I already snatched some parts of your simplon theme integrating it into my own (beloved) theme, especially those additional buttons and glowing lights on machines - very cool. But I fear, as it was not easy for me and things getting more and more complicated, that I have to spend days of experimenting integrating it successflly again.
So, easy spoken (remember rolling eyes): a single dll or what so ever to throw into buzz folder. (Now it is allowed to burst out laughing).

i like to have it integrated in the machineview.
right now we are not able to read the the vumeterlevel from an incoming signal in machineview directly without additional codebehind.
so dear Oskari, could you please implement VUMeterLevel in MachineView like you did in ConnectionVM.cs for LoopRecorderGUI ?
