No WASAPI driver loaded

Hi there, as I remember I used to run Buzz with the WASAPI driver, but after reinstalling the system Buzz doesnt show this option in wave output preferences. Debug Console says 00:00 [ADM] Failed to load driver 'wo_wasapi.dll' Anybode has an idea why it doesn't work now? WinXP SP3, Buzz 1454. thanx

Steps to solve problem:
1) E-mail microsoft and tell them to add WASAPI support to Windows XP.
2) Wait
3) Wait some more

WASAPI is only in Vista and up. Have you changed machine / OS ?
I'd use ASIO on XP if I were you.

Yes, went back to XP, quicker, simplier, less space . F*ck Vista, the worst slowest OS ever and W7 with 20GB space too! Maybe that's Im gonna email to Microsoft
The creative Asio driver sounds kinda shitty to me, so I go with Asio4all or sth then. thanx

imo. W7 is probably the fastest Windows version on modern machines.
Also the GUI is quicker since it uses more GPU capabilities.
So anyway, today´s hardware is designed for that kind of software and vice versa.
And new hardware including a decent sound card isn´t that expensive.
