i'm using build 1668 (x64) and love it very much.
two things are a bit bothering but by no means i'm trying to push anything here.
when connecting vst's i often get crackles and i need to push f12,save and restart the session because buzz is going to crash,i can't say exactly how to reproduce that but it seems that some vst's are more "sensitive" than others.
could this be related to the engine threads?
i observed some odd when showing the engine threads feature.
the different colors are the cores and i guess the grey color is the core which buzz is using mainly?
under some circumstances, for example when i connect two machines on one vst,the vst change the color to grey and the following machines are only using that grey core.
that means this core must work more than the others which can result in crackling when using a lower buffer.
now, it would be great to customize the single machines for balancing the cpu.
it's hard to grasp at which point the cpu is running out of balance because it seems that some vst's can somehow influence other vst's.
other than that,i'm using my computer with the default bios settings,
there is anything enabled which can maybe still influence the performance (cpu power saving for example).
but yeah, i'm sure oskari knows what i'm talking about,
