Some VSTi's don't save parameters - any tips?

Hi,
I don't know if this was discussed before or not but there are some VSTi's that don't seem to be able to save parameters into the .bmx song:

The first one is OxeVST:
http://www.oxesoft.com/oxefmsynth/

The second is Hexter VSTi:
http://cutevst.sourceforge.net/

Everytime I try to use these VSTi's and make up a sound in them, I have to quickly save the sound as a preset - because at the very moment when I save the whole song (.bmx), all the parameters jump back to their default values and the new sound I just created gets lost.

But even then I can't use presets properly - when I use one preset in one song and another preset in another song, each time I change presets, when I load a new song, these VSTis will initialize with the _last used_ presets, regardless of which preset they were saved with...
Seems like that either no preset or parameter information is saved into the .bmx files (or even if they are saved, the VSTi somehow defaults them when it initializes?)

This problem persists both in Polac's and Rout's VST loaders. I haven't tried these VSTi's in other hosts (so I don't know if it's a Buzz-only problem, a problem with the VSTi's or something else)...

Can someone give a hint on this please?
Thanks,
ht.

Hi, i tried Hexter here, you can fix the reset by selecting "save only selected program to song" in the loader preferences.

Brilliant - huge thanks for the quick reply!!!
Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work in OxeVST - (and btw. if I could add to the not working list, the Roland drummachine emulators from D16 (Drumazon, Nepheton, etc.) also have the same non-saving problem)
Thanks again!

I suppose it's a bug in oxe fm, it fails to save here with other vst hosts here too. Only thing that helps is to store the tweakings via oxe gui before saving a song.

I see - thanks again for looking into that! I'll try to contact the developer then.
