vsts/effects have wonky sound quality just running them

The main ones I notice right now are BLOK modular/BLOK fx and ReaJS. The sound quality drops but in different ways, even when blok fx passes straight through and when no effect is chosen in ReaJS. Blok sounds downsampled or something, while ReaJS sounds more mono? It might help to know that ReaJS has a 64-bit signal path while BLOK is (I dunno)
These are two of the main instruments/effects I use so this is a big problem!
