I'm attaching a picture of my most CPU intensive song. It maxes the CPU on an i7-2600 with 8GB of RAM.

@UNZ: any idea why I get this error when I try to use mixio?

I recall running depends, with no interesting result.

hm latest buzz and mixio ?

seems like the track count got screwed up (its reporting the wrong number of tracks to the gui or trying to add a track that doesn't exist or something like that..)

Thanks! Actually MixIO allowed me to start using a mixer again. I was previously using multiple cheapo amps as my mixer because I needed multitrack out (and the multitrack writer is glitchy when adjusting the levels with larger amounts of tracks). It really is a great mixer.

Latest Buzz and mixIO, yes.

Just tried running depends on mixIO.GUI.dll - is the answer in here?

no, the dependancies are fine, the problem is something with the gui part (right click mixio and open parameters, should work)

and this happens on an empty bmx ??

do you use the default theme ?

is mixio in the GEN folder instead of EFX maybe ??

here's something to try:
-insert mixio into machine view
-DONT open the GUI yet
-go to pattern view
-make a pattern for mixio
-how many tracks are there ? (there should be 1)
-how try to open the GUI

another thing to try (i thought this wasn't an issue anymore but..):
-make sure the gui.dll is unblocked:

Feeling dumb not to have already checked and dumb again because I somehow managed to put an earlier version in gens.
Working now - thanks!
