I want to create an Oberheim 8 voice using 8 Arturia SEM V linked together thru LD mixer and controlling parameters thru EMU Xboard 49 and Kore controller. The problem i am having is getting them all to trigger a note together. I tried using midi send but it says not supported by plugin. Any other way to trigger them all together. Check out this vid about OB 8 sounds incredible

never used that feature. i am on win 7 64 too ... and it also crashes buzz when importing the .splx file.
workaround: save ix split with the desired configuration as a template and drop that into each new file. that works here.

I've been playing around with this machine a lot. If you just want to have multiple machines played by the same controller just set the midi channel the same on all (that's what I do most of the time).

Setting the midi channel produced good results. Plus using split for transpose functions is great to. Although the notes hangs on the vst unless you put off in the track when using split. I thought it would be note on note off it seems to work like latch on a keyboard. Now for some peer control to liven things up a bit.

Can one of you upload a file for me to test?

I try to be optimistic.

It does not crash when you import an empty splx, without any layers added.
... but with just one layer added, buzz will crash on import.

Right! Please stay like that!

Still crashes for me but i am using 8 layers. I could upload it if you want. Does not crash with yours though and loads ok when loading the template

I think it should work okay now. I also finally managed to persuade the x64 version to compile but whether it works or not is anybody's guess.
IX Split 1.08c
IX Split 1.08c x64
Let me know how you get on.

Works fine now thanks for your hard work. Quick question what does Normal Matched and Single relate to in track mode

Track Mode:
Normal - Split will use the first available track on the target machine, starting at the base track.
Matched - Notes from Split track n will be sent to target machine track n + base.
Single - All notes will be sent to the base track on the target machine.
Working fine here now, too. Thanks IX !
