Is there a way to transpose globally in Buzz?

Post by mridlen »

It would be a really handy feature to be able to transpose all note values in a song.

I don't think so.
Anything VST driven can be transposed in polac's wrapper, but you'd have to do that machine by machine.

The latest matilde tracker has a "Tuning" parameter which goes from -5 to +5 semitones (quantized into semitones.) - So if you use matilde for everything, assigning all the "Tuning" sliders to the same MIDI controller would enable you to transpose the whole song using one slider.

Another approach might be changing the "Speed" drop-down, which will slow down the entire song - an thus detune it. But of course, it would also become slower that way.

So no... I think you're out of luck.

I use mostly VSTis these days, so that should be helpful, thanks for the info.
