Muted Generator

I some how accidentally muted a PVSTI generator, it's not making any sound. Even if change to another vsti it stays quiet.
I can see it receiving midi, and all patterns look intact.
These things always happen when you have fun. All the rest of the instruments work in the song.
I'm pretty clumsy when using buzz often end in doing stuff I don't want to, like pressing F1.

A couple things to check:

1) the volume knob.

2) did you mute the track in the pattern view?

3) Sometimes VST crash and stuff, have you tried closing and reopening?

4) Sometimes other stuff crashes, try connecting it directly to master.

5) Do you see a blinking light on the machine when it receives midi or does it stay dark? If it's lighting up, it's making noise.

6) Under the edit menu there is a MIDI receive CC and MIDI receive note, F9 and F10.

On max, also loading another vsti or changing preset won't help. Only replace works, but then I loose all the patterns.

not muted in sequence view at least. I guess that's the same?

Yes.

It's connected straight to the master

Yes it blinks when receiving MIDI.

They are both checked.

It's very odd. I can't come up with any more ideas.
Thanks anyway! And if you got any more ideas post them too.

Ok found it out now!! :D

It was my off pattern that was filled with zeroes!!
That is a bug. I think it happens when you convert to pattern xp and a the pattern is shorter than 16.
Or at least it always happens on patterns shorter than 16. Any row without notes gets filled with zeroes.
That set wet to zero, panning to -64 and transpose to -24.

All though I changed wet many times in the pattern view it wasn't until I changed it in the GUI (PVSTI settings) I got it to work.
