Using "ld Grain" as a Beat Slicer / Time-stretcher

 ..a video, self-explaining
(there's a few things at the end about the assignments settings
in peer control and how patterns (can) look like)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e5cd-Od370
:ugeek:

notes:
- Reset Loop can be used as a sample and hold effect (when GPosDelta is low)
- Note Target B: pitch slides etc.. Note Target C: no pitch slides (?)
- I made several patterns to "match" or rather "unmatch" looplength / amount of slices.
- ADSR: Amp D is used to fade out a slice.
.... and such ....

Neat. I've never seriously used Grain. Is it stable and reliable?

In my memory: if it has ever crashed buzz, it was in
the old buzz 1.2 , but I never found proof that it was
ld Grain that caused it.

reliable:
It has a little -inertia- bug though, that I sometimes noticed
when reloading a song while buzz speed (bpm+tpb)
is too high. (other people have had the same)
This makes that parameter automation is not noticed, it seems.
It is solved by setting inertia from 01 to 02 in patternview.

Wasn't there something with these later buzzbuilds that
people can code a parameterGUI for any machine ??
I can't code, but I guess ld Grain can be turned into
a nice beatslicer that way. (and make 02 the lowest value
for inertia :) )
