Has anyone ever had the wavetable not accept .wavs before. I got a ton of high quality percussion samples from a studio today, but over half the files give me a "CWave::Load() failed" dialog when I try to preview them. They open in Audacity and pro tools etc, but even the folders don't properly load in the wavetable. I've tried "converting" them into new wave files but the same thing happens. I was only successful once when i created a new folder and transferred a specific folder to it. That only worked once though. I'll include a screenshot of the view of the folders in wavetable so you can see what I mean.

is there some strange character in the place where these [] are in the folder name ?

WOW... i cannot believe a little dot could cause so much trouble. now i get to change every filename in the library that has that.

You can probably find some utility that will help automate the process. This one, for example, looks like it will do what you need:
