I'm updating the introduction section at jeskola.net/buzz. qu0LL already contributed the first sentece but I'd like some more. If anyone can give a decent general description of what buzz is, please post here. It's not easy to write.

Just a spontaneous sentence.
Jeskola Buzz or just "Buzz" is a virtual Audio Workstation which can be used very easy up to very complicated.
I can load common VST plugins in either 32 or 64 bit format or it is possible to create own plugins which are called "machines".

Expanding on qu0LL's:
Jeskola Buzz is a freeware music production environment for Windows. Available in both 32 and 64 bit flavours, Buzz offers step-sequencing (tracker style) editing & arrangement combined with a modular approach to sound design and signal routing. Supporting VST/i, DXi and Ladspa plugins as well as 100s of native instruments and effects, Buzz allows complete freedom for music and sound production no matter what the genre !
With a fully customisable GUI, support for live audio processing, multi-channel outputs, midi controllable devices, and a 32-bit float point output, Buzz will meet even the needs of even the most demanding musician.

Hey Oskari,
glad to give you a hand. (I am working as a writer in a advertising agency).
My approach is a balanced diction of technical and emotional words summing up to evoke curiosity – or so
I don't know how much space you want to provide for the introduction. So if my suggestion is too long, the part with the 5 dots could be cut out.
Hope you find it helpful – or parts of it. If so, it should be revisioned by an english native speaker – as I am not.
Jeskola Buzz – created for creativity
Jeskola Buzz is a freeware modular music sequencer offering endless possibilities to generate and manipulate sound.
Starting with a simple linear routing of Buzz- and VST-plugins via mouse click,
a project can evolve to a complex structure providing material never heard before.
Featuring a clearly arranged and customizable interface, Jeskola Buzz contains everything needed
for experimental sound design, live performance or serious music production:
• Over 1000 unique generators and effects build exclusively for Jeskola Buzz
• Pattern based 3-view-sequencer – horizontal, vertical, piano roll
• VST-integration, full midi control incl. live recording
• Wavetable editor for sample processing
• Multi channel output, wav-export, helpful tools and so much more …
Developed since 1997
OS: Microsoft Windows

Oops noticed too many 'even's in that last sentence. Should've been:
Buzz will meet the needs of even the most demanding musician.

Both texts are cool
Maybe you can add soundfonts to external files that can be loaded (and XS1 is the best sf loader I know).
And add something about peer machines, automation, self generated music and tools to help writing/playing music (PatternXP Mod + Scale Walker).
