I am having crashes whenever buzz encounters a machine which is absent from "gear", and in the case of hd halyverb it crashes whether it's present or not. (in a bmx which originally contained it)

Maybe not the best solution but you can use Buzzhelper remove/replace halyverb before opening the song. Strange though. Halyverb should be stable.

Woah, thanks. I was just wondering how I might remove problematic machines from old tracks. There's always more to learn!
