Wav editor, bidirectional loop not working?

Is the bidirectional loop simply not working in the wav editor, or am I doing it wrong?
It's acts exactly the same as the regular loop setting.

Works here. You have to select the machine (such as Matilde) from the dropdown and check enable.

On a new tracker it works fine indeed. On the one I was trying it on it doesn't. Weird.
