This button...

It does nothing. Does anybody know if it can be patched? Is there already a wavetable update floating around that I'm not aware of?
The ability to play a selection of a sample before trimming it would be incredibly useful. Currently, you just kind of have to shave it down in tiny increments, and there's a lot of guessing and hoping involved. Or trial and error and copying and pasting the entire sample to undo (copying and pasting selections doesn't seem to work either, on a side note).

hey, yeah, having worked on that: progress on that is stuck because there is no way to access a play cursor for the wavetable, so it will always play from position zero, which is pretty useless. iirc there is also no way to specify which layer to play. that's why this never got done either. i've asked oskari for this feature multiple times, because it's something that needs to be provided by buzz to be implemented in wavetable...
