Hi guys
Need some help. I can't get PeerCtrl and PeerLFO to behave properly. I'm using the latest version of 32bit Buzz on a fresh install. I've already gotten the latest versions of the machines from the sourceforge page and registered envelope.ocx. I also saw another user say PeerCtrl relies on Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 which i downloaded and installed too. I can successfully assign both machines to a parameter, but then they have no effect.

You can see in the gif I've assigned PeerCtrl to the Cutoff parameter of the Filter machine, but adjusting PeerCtrl's Value slider does nothing to the Filter. The same thing happens with PeerLFO.

Not sure what to do next.

Hi, o.k. forget my following sentences, I could reproduce your problem one my machine, it seems you have put your peer-lfo and peer-ctrl-machines into the effect folder and not into the generators folder, they load o.k., but they don't work this way. Some peer-machines indeed go into the effects folder. (Btw. Buzz should give a hint on that at the bottom, some sort of an error-message), so my solution to you is, simply to put the peers into the correct gear folders, good luck, hope it works now ... yes it will!
(If the two peer-machines really rely on the vcr2005, you can try to Install the Version with the Security Update, there once were different Versions and the older ones did Not Install certain files ...
I could Not reproduce the Error you showed here, in my Buzz-Setup it works, No Matter what I do first, perhaps try to Install some newer vc-redistributables ... (but maybe others have more knowledge and better hints for you))
