I was having a play with this VSTI -> https://github.com/tiagolr/ripplerx

... and, apparently, it supports Audio In.

At the moment, the VST is only in VSI form - there is no effect version of the VST, so my question is - would it be possible to make use of the Audio In feature of RipplerX from within Buzz (or ReBuzz, for that matter), or is this something that simply won;t get supported, and I would need to either wait for an FX version, or do it myself :p ?

Don't think it's possible in Buzz since Generators don't have inputs. ReBuzz could potentially implement it but I have no idea how easy or difficult that might be.

Did you try newest polac vst loadder?

VST3 can have audio inputs in instruments version.
I requested support for it some time ago and i think polac added in one of lastest version. Didnt test it unfortunately...
