Great news indeed

(though Xaphoid already mentioned the new utrk in another thread some time ago,
and there's a topic for matilde 2 / 3 already)
Especially good news for 24-bit samples buzzers, but multi-out is good for anyone I guess
I may not be using the most up to date buzz, but the about dialogue makes my matilde tracker 2 crash...
mysterious?
(the buzzmachines.com doesn't mention the new matilde 2 as requiring special version)

It's not mysterious at all if this stuff is still there:
Code: Select all
if( m_hDlg )
{
// TODO: replace these with a PostMessage to avoid deadlocks in the about box (!)
char temp[80];
sprintf( temp, "%d", usedchannels );
Static_SetText( GetDlgItem(m_hDlg,IDC_CHANNELCOUNT), temp );
sprintf( temp, "%d", m_Wavetable.GetUsedSamples() );
Static_SetText( GetDlgItem(m_hDlg,IDC_SAMPLECOUNT), temp );
}

Updating the mtrk is always such pleasant news. Thank you so much Carsten.
But what are the codes oskari has quoted here? Does it cause a bug or any issue?

Thanks to Calvin for these ace updates. Is UTrk open source now? I wonder if there's any chance of getting an update of the alternate version with the note column on the left? I never could get to grips with the 'standard' version.

awesome work!

I really hope the version with the note on the left gets updated as well. this is not meant to be compatible with older versions right? so any chance we could get a third set of effects/paramater column? okay maybe I'm asking too much. lol

edit: again, is it possible to change the display of 20 (or more) posts per forum page, rather than the current 10 posts?

I apologize. I googled it, but I should have checked the fucking DL button (buttons, as there are two on there with the same crap software linkage).
Uploaded it here instead:

I've been using Utrk2 on a new track and have been hounded constantly by buzz halting and crashing. I get no errors just hangs and skips whatever sound was playing till I close buzz. It seems to happen whenever I try to do things like make new patterns, erase notes or change velocity values of samples while looping. The problem only seems to happen while actively jamming on a loop. At the time I was making full use of the new MultiI/O feature of Utrk2 if that helps. All other machines used were machines I use all the time and I even tried running with no multithreading period.
I replaced the Utrk2 with original Utrk and the problem stopped all together so I'm pretty sure this has to be the issue.

Cool to see UTrk back in development! Does that mean that Fuzzpilz has taken up the reins again?

Good question, no this update was made by "somebody else", people refer to this other person as "Calvin", "Clvn" or "Carsten".
So it's not Fuzzpilz "real name".
