i don't know if this is related to the cmicallbacks song position bugfix but energyxt always begins a bit to early since build 1410.
it works well with build 1409 though.

can i ask how you are able to sync buzz and another host?

you can sync another host via rewire if it is supported (you need the rewire.dll for buzz)
this still works only with two outputs i think.
in my case i only load vst's when i need another host and of course this host need to be available in the vst format too
there are a couple out there.
