Re: Help please! Generators play the wrong notes.
Happy to help :) If you have the CPU power for it, I'd recommend sticking to 96 kHz though and ditch/find replacements for the older buzz generators that only supports 44.1. Some buzz machines actually sound better at 96 vs 44.1. There's some info regarding sample rate on the buzz wiki (scroll down ...

Re: Help please! Generators play the wrong notes.
Some older buzz machines are unfortunately hardcoded to work at a sample rate of 44.100 kHz. Running any higher rates throws off the pitch, just as you describe.

Re: new pvst beta (updated 25-Dec-2014)
Hi Polac, I was hoping you could shed some light on some questions I have regarding pvsti. 1. If I use pvsti and load a midi out channel/midivst, I can always access and enable the midi clock when I open the editor. If I load an vst synth editor (to control external midi synths/HW) which doesn't hav...

Re: videosync
Works fine here as well (W7, buzz & VLC x86)
I might have found a small bug however? If you set "Step" to 1 and loop it in buzz, pac will just play the entire video. Minimum step length seems to be 2

Regarding Asio-out channel names (in mono) which Joachip mentioned, i noticed that too a while ago, so i took a screenshot. Anyway, it's a minor detail

Re: wavetable stuff
Hi mantratronic & UNZ, I found a minor bug regarding editing .mp3 samples. If you edit a .mp3 sample by either deleting / trimming or silencing a portion of the sample, the name of the sample gets blanked out in the wavetable. The sample is still available and accessible however. I have tested w...

Re: How did you get your nickname?
15-16? years ago i saw a poster of some magic mushrooms (possibly a "infected mushroom" poster?) which i thought looked cool. At the time my productions sounded a bit trippy, inspired by bands as Ozric Tentacles, Eatstatic as well as the 90's trip hop scene, and thought "shroom" ...

Re: wavetable stuff
I found a minor bug, sometimes there's a gap on the right side of the wave when its drawn. Try trimming a wave and it becomes more prominent (see attached file). Also, not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but when you copy a sample to next available slot, the volume slider in the param tab is s...

Re: MIDI clock out with start and stop messages?
Polac sends midi clock, not sure about the stop. (you would have to use a note to start and note-off to stop in a pattern).KNAR wrote:Is there a machine that will send tempo and start/stop messages to a slave sequencer?
However, you could try this vst http://www.midiplugins.com/plugin/?id=232

Hi Polac, yeah, i understand it will be tricky to test as it requires the hardware. I wonder if its possible to analyze midi the messages somehow.. Regarding your question, I bind both midi in & out in the editor itself, not with buzz/asio. I installed the latest pvst, but no change unfortunate...

I would too say Unwieldy series. (I personally use v3).thOke wrote:unwieldy delay 2 has a 'clear buffer' parameter that might help to eliminate unwanted delays on certain ticks ?!

Re: Odd issue,Mopho VST editor receives midiclock wo adding
Hi Polac, I recently bought the MOPHO PlugSE vst editor http://soundtower.com/plugse/mopho/index.html for controlling my Mopho HW synth, and i have stumbled upon a weird issue when using it in pvst. When i set the vst editor to sync tempo externally (to buzz), the synth's tempo goes completely hayw...
