Re: AudioBlock

Experimental support for Modern Sequence Editor . Hope I didn't break anything. thanx for new features! one point of usability: after redrawing of the waveform envelope points are freezed again. This can produce a lot of extra clicks sometimes for unfreezing ... ;) This should work better now.

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

There were some issues so updated both sequence editor and envblock machine. EDIT: Ooh actually is it work in progress - Making and editing a pattern in the new mode doesn't seem to get replicated in the old view. I can't seem to get any of the keyboard shortcuts to work in it either (eg interpolati...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

PS: does the EnvBlock exist? WTF?! I am waiting for it!!!   Wait no more ;) Haven't really tested it though... Move the editor cursor out of the way so you can use it. Right click opens the menu and left moves the boxes. EnvelopeBlock.zip (ps. is there a 'Modern Pattern Editor...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

Experimental stuff. Added small interface extension that allows machines to draw to patterns. Delete the old one before unzipping to Buzz root folder(I renamed the file). Machine needs to... reference ModernSequenceEditor.Interfaces.dll implement IModernSequencerMachineInterface do this when it is a...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

I like that you can choose the colours for each track - but I'm wondering if it would be possible to use the standard "Windows Colour Picker Window" or even enter in RGB values so that we could have custom colours? Go to themes folder and open SequenceEditor.xaml file (under default if you are usin...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

Quick and dirty solution is to fallback to default theme if something goes wrong. Seems to work. 'Default Glass' and 'iLKke pixelplast (new)' also give the following error, though it happens when you double-click on any machine, so it's not specific to ModernSeq: Yeah, I think these themes have some...

Re: Modern Sequence Editor

I think I found the issue with disappearing text. Updated. Oh wow, what an awesome tool, thank you WDE! I am going to have some fun with this  I'm getting a few glitches though. Like IXix, I have trouble if I don't use theme <default>, though the error message is different: Very strange. Sorr...

I'd try to debug it but I'm busy breaking Magic.
:D

I think the issue was related to loading theme, fixed now. You were using default theme right?

Modern Sequence Editor

Hey devs, I needed a bit more modern version of the good old Buzz sequence editor and ended up with this: ModernSeq.png Thanks goes to the master himself because this is 99% based on the horizontal sequence editor you can find in Buzz already. What I did was to switch rows and columns, and did some ...

Re: AudioBlock

1.0.12.0 I think there is some extra silence in pattern (i.e. too long patterns). Yes. AB rounds pattern length up to tick that is divisible by 8. I moved this to settings so you can decrease the number to get more accurate pattern length. Can you set the yellow playing position according to the seq...

Finally the last list
Excellent and thank you so much. Now I really need to start practicing this stuff ;)

I think the machine itself is pretty much done. We can add more chords later but those will be added to the bottom of the list so that songs won't break. Source added.

Any chance you could put the code on GitHub or somewhere?
Perhaps at some point. However for now I updated the source file. I encourage those who are interested to copy, steal, get influenced, get scared, or do anything with it

Re: EasyRec

Does loop recorder cut the silence at the beginning? LR starts to record when it detects sound. EasyRec records immediately. Don't you need it? Yes, if you want to sync all machines precisely. This means that if a machine introduces latency/delay and you have the MachineDelayCompensation enabled th...

I'm glad EasyRec is less buggy now (not bug free I'm sure :))

As a bonus I recompiled Jeskola Loop Recorder to output 32bit Wavs.

Re: EasyRec

Did some cleanups and uploaded new version. However, I can't reproduce this.

Here is how I tested:

1. Load sample to Wavetable.
2. Use AudioBlock and Matilde Tracker 2 to play sample.
3. Record using EasyRec and Loop Recorder.
4. Compare all recordings in Audacity.
