Re: How you Equalize it?

Depends on context. Might fade the release, might change the pitch, might EQ, might not, might do some additive compression, might not, might sidechain, might not. But, as a general rule of thumb, kicks tend to need to punch at around 100Hz. However, sometimes it's as low as 60Hz, though this is usu...

Re: wavetable editor question

to answer mozarts question, there isnt a play selection feature, however you can workaround this by changing the loop setting to "loop" instead of "no loop" in the parameter tab of the wave editor. then use something to play the sample such as qsamo. either trigger your sample i...

MUSIC VIDEO: ill_eden - B.A.C.K

This is from an international semi-nerdcore hip-hop project I'm a part of. I made the music in Buzz (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be linking it here), and also I did half the rapping (under a different name; I'm the Swedish one). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2lGtL4E-3c Any feedback on the prod...

Re: Hard Disk Recorder Render Loop strangles Buzz upon finis

I've also been having problems with Render Loop lately. Record Loop works fine, but Render Loop gets stuck at 100% and then Buzz goes unstable and the resulting .wav file is broken. More or less consistently. I haven't tried it in the latest build, though.

m2buzz (MOD/XM/MIDI-to-Buzz converter) not working.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, which might be why m2buzz isn't working. Here's what I'm wondering: Is there a newer version around, or some workaround for this problem? M2bvc.exe tells me BASS.dll is missing from my system, but It2xm.exe and Easyxmid.exe tell me I need a 32 or 64 bit version of the p...

Re: Mr. Bassie remix

ty ;] dubstep will not be habbit forming.. don't really plan on using that style of bass again really, more of a one off.. but i had fun with it I know what you mean. It's fun to experiment with, but not much of a genre to live in. I've played around with a bit of dubstep myself, but the thought of...

I'm not a dev, but I don't see how that would be possible without a flux capacitor.

Re: Sampler machine idea (could I make it if I learned c#?)

I can't seem to record note-ons with my controller. I'm hearing the slices triggered, but they don't get recorded. I'm having the same problem with every machine I've tried except for Polac VST.

Oh, thanks!
Now, is there a way to turn off the velocity sensitivity?

Whoa. That's some pretty good noise reduction. Didn't know a buzz machine could do that.

Re: RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night

On closer inspection, it looks like the villain here is the fact that there are effects in the generators folder in the pack. Specifically the Bigyo bunch of effects. Yeah, I'm new here. Been using Buzz since 1999, but I was never part of the community (save for a couple of brief visits to Buzzchurc...

Re: RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night

As an experiment, I tried the pack again, but this time effects first and then generators, instead of everything at once. There's something in generators that's mucking things up. Even when I don't overwrite. Which seems to mean it's a file that's not even in the project in question. Which is weird....

Re: RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night

I uninstalled Buzz, backed up my gear folder, installed a fresh Buzz, and now I'm rebuilding my gear folder from scratch, downloading one machine at a time. The track from the other day now plays fine. Thanks all for the help. Hopefully I'll be able to dig up all the machines I'll need to play most ...

Re: RIP: That piece of music I was working on last night

loads fine here.. there are several versions of fsm's machines @ buzzmachines, i would go through those patterns missing usually has to do with a generator though in my experience.. you sure you re-re-downloaded mtrk? i'd do this; update fsm machines update mtrk run buzz installer update polac vst ...

Could you do me a small favor? Could you create some copies of the .bmx file, one where you delete the PhatMan, one where you delete the ParamEQ's and one where you delete the MTrk's, and then upload them? Might be a good way for me to check what's not working.
