sorry so late
uses blok and blok fx, so you may only be able to hear the tracker machines/drum patterns. It's only divided into 5ths and 3rds I think but the tempo changes erratically which might crash it too?
obviously you need to enable subtick timing

Re: Generative breakcore (?)
I prefer creating generative sounds through modular trickery, or arranging by hand and trying to abstract it in my mind to the point the patterns themselves look interesting. Like eventually I will be able to translate my thoughts directly into binary code. I also do a lot of trickery with polymeter...

Re: too many polyrhythms crashes buzz?
sure I'll do some printscreens when I get home in other news I've made my own sequencer in the meantime, subdivision can be any positive floating point number haha. It takes it a step further too, it reads a text string so you have like 37 or so samples you could trigger with one keystroke. like &qu...

or subdivisions or whatever. I'm insane and using like every prime number up to 89 which seems to be the limit, but still it should just slow down shouldn't it? I tried time critical priority but that doesn't seem to help

My Reaper JS effects
I've kind of graduated from buzz to working half in buzz/half in reaper and using the JS language in either (there's a VST version in Buzz's case) Thought I'd give back to the buzz community in a way by sharing these. Not all are particularly useful but and some simply imitate some paid plugins I've...

Re: 6 machines you use the most
matilde tracker, samplegrid, BLOK modular, pvst, and cheapo amp probably lol
I'm mostly using buzz for the interface these days not so much the native machines. Infector can still be great though, and oomek aggressor is nice
anybody know what's up with BLOK/zephod btw?

Re: Rendering
unrelated, but I'm having a problem rendering in Buzz. Every once in a while the WAV file will have these glitches in it, only a few samples long but the noise is either silence, or as loud as 32 bit floating point allows (so when normalizing the rest of the song goes way down to near silence), in o...

Auto-named pattern copies (would be cool)
as in, when I copy a pattern, instead of just suggesting 01,02,03,04, I can give some useful prefix/suffix to it, like call the first pattern A and then A01,A02, etc. are variations on pattern A, and B00,B01,B02 are based on some completely different pattern if this is already possible tell me how! ...

vsts/effects have wonky sound quality just running them
The main ones I notice right now are BLOK modular/BLOK fx and ReaJS. The sound quality drops but in different ways, even when blok fx passes straight through and when no effect is chosen in ReaJS. Blok sounds downsampled or something, while ReaJS sounds more mono? It might help to know that ReaJS ha...

DJ Saint-Hubert - Ablum
http://djsaint-hubert.bandcamp.com/album/ablum my first real full-length that isn't a soundtrack/compilation or anything... well maybe not but I consider this my first proper album! Features many samples of musical/non-musical things made to sound musical and chaotic beats (maybe a little messy for ...

Play Speed/Render to Disk Fast but with sound?
Hi I noticed that the Render to Disk Fast driver's samplerate setting works a lot like the Play Speed setting in newbuzz (and both make buzz run faster as a bonus). I want to do one of two things: 1) to be able to set play speed to anything you want/type in, 2) Use a render to disk fast output, but ...

Encapsulating stuff feature would be nice
like if I have some huge chain of effects that all converge into one machine, it would be nice if Buzz had a feature to pack it all into a box called 'FX Chain' or whatever and then you could open that up in a sub-window/tab? Like right now I have these pretty complex/dense synth setups but it's don...

Re: recursive subpattern trigger?
Nope, doesn't work with build 1199 (I assume that's early enough or is that too early) it would be nice if pattern 1 could call itself and stuff like that too, like two instances of the pattern at once. The whole thing is pretty confusing honestly But yeah, I tried to do a 1 --> 2 --> 1 repeating lo...

recursive subpattern trigger?
ahaha this is kind of a stupid feature request but I noticed Pattern XP's subpattern trigger seems only to go one layer down, as in if pattern 1 triggers pattern 2, and pattern 2 has a trigger for pattern 3, only 2 would be triggered when pattern 1 plays. This might crash/freeze Buzz if pattern 1 tr...
