Hi,
To get started with the new buzz I made a list
of hotkeys, to rmember. I took them from the changelog
and I thought it would be useful for other newbuzzers.

Pattern xp:
- pattern xp: write parameter state (ctrl+t) Make a selection and use ctrl+t to paste
current parameter values.
- pattern xp: graphical column view (ctrl+g) to draw pattern data: hold down ctrl to edit fields using
mouse
- pattern xp: ctrl+alt+i imports built-in editor pattern
- pattern xp: click track number or press ctrl+m to mute a track
- pattern xp: subpatterns feature allows you to trigger other patterns of the same machine
inside a pattern and apply transformations to them
- pattern xp: subpattern effect 01 - play mode (00 = normal, 01 = loop, 02 = reverse, 03 = reverse
loop)
- pattern xp: subpattern effect 11/12 - diatonic transpose up/down (first digit = key (0=C, 1=C#, ...),
second digit = amount)
- pattern editor: spacebar plays/stops pattern (not the song)
- pattern editor: ctrl+space plays a pattern with recording enabled
- pattern xp: shift+space plays a pattern starting at cursor
- pattern xp: (shift+)ctrl+w rotates events in selection
- pattern xp: exponential interpolation (ctrl+shift+i)
- shift+enter in pattern view switches to old sequence view
New pattern editor:
- new pattern editor (ctrl+q in pattern view)
- new pattern editor: custom keyboard mappings (see PEKeys.xml)
Midi:
- Options->Master Keyboard Mode. when enabled, midi channel 1 input is routed to the machine that has midi focus. midi focus changes when:
- machine view is activated / selected machine changes
- pattern editor is activated / selected machine changes
- sequence editor is activated / active column changes
- parameter window is activated
- a machine calls pCB->SetMidiFocus
(old) Sequence view:
- sequence view: '+' creates a new pattern
- sequence view: ctrl+backspace shows properties of the pattern under the cursor
- sequence view: # to insert selected pattern
- sequence view: set start/end in popup menu
- sequence view: spacebar plays pattern under the cursor
- sequence view : ctrl+m mutes track
- sequence view: (shift and +/-) for double/half stepsize
- sequence view: home/end to jump to start/end
New sequence editor:
- new sequence editor: double-click creates a new pattern
- new sequence editor: ctrl+t inserts time signature (=step size) change
- new sequence editor: add pattern/,/-/_/ins/del/ctrl+i/ctrl+d
- new sequence editor: ctrl+up/down to move track
- new sequence editor: ctrl+m/ctrl+l (mute/solo)
- new sequence editor: return key selects the pattern under cursor and switches to pattern editor
- new sequence editor: auto select pattern under cursor (optional)
- new sequence editor: shift+enter in pattern view switches to old sequence view
- new sequence editor: time signatures and zoom level saved in song file
- new sequence editor: right click->color
- new sequence editor: backspace: remove previous pattern
- sequence view: ctrl+arrow to move collumns
Machine view:
- machine view: ctrl+w to switch back to the old machine view
- machineview: middle mouse button to connect machines
- machine view sidebar. drag and drop to add, insert and replace machines.
- machine view: disconnect machine by dragging it to the edge of the screen (optional)
- machine view: drag machines to template list to create a template
- machine view: drag template over machine to replace it
- machine view: 4th mouse button (X1) or alt+leftmousebutton "rotates" selected machines around
the output (useful after copy/pasting a chain of machines)
Random stuff:
- audio speed control. can be useful when midi recording or for live special effects.
- change machine attribute defaults in gear.xml
- parameter window: machine attributes in right-click menu
- fully customizable toolbar, Themes/ToolBar.xaml
- file browser: backspace loads a sample
- wave editor: mousewheel zoom on cursor
- wave editor: navigation key strokes added (see viewtopic.php?f=3&p=38)
- wavetable: drag and drop waves from other apps
Older and known from old buzz:
- pattern xp: interpolate (ctrl+i)
- pattern xp: randomize (ctrl+r)
- pattern xp: ctrl+b/e/u: to make a selection
- pattern xp: paste behaves like in old editor when using old style ctrl+b/e selection
- sequence view: ctrl+arrow to move collumns (also for the new sequencer)
