Re: list of keyboard shortcuts for newer versions of buzz
Is there one for changing song speed in drop menu?
Or a way to change speed from the sequencer... i know "normal" speed changes can be done by creating patterns for master and programming changes there, but what if i want (i do) change speed especially from the drop down menu, so that all pitches chance too? And i want to add that change to a track?
It would be useful for things like in this track @5:36 forward:
http://soundcloud.com/savolainen-juniori/bagdad-apparat
I recorded that while decreasing speed 3 times one step.. i had pattern which lifted SD's pitch up at the same time. Idea was to create quick and easy "Newbeat" remix.
After i was recorded track and was handling .wav file i noticed that those speed changes were NOT recorded at all.
It just doesn't seem to work that way. I was so convinced about my idea that i recreated that effect with wave editor afterwards. That felt kind of cheating. I would rather sequence everything.

Re: list of keyboard shortcuts for newer versions of buzz
you could use peer state assigned to master bpm
Re: list of keyboard shortcuts for newer versions of buzz
no this won't work because:syphilissauna wrote:you could use peer state assigned to master bpm
1) he's talking about the SPEED dropdown, not the BPM one
2) the SPEED is NEVER recorded in the .wav with the harddisk recorder. It is only changed for realtime playback and this is "by design". Its not intended to be used as an effect or to be automated at all. Unless you can convince oskari there's a good reason it should be recordable, i guess. The original purpose for SPEED afaik was to slow down stuff for recording notes with your midi keyboard easier (for people who are not very good at playing live).
