Help, please?

Post by Omchaki »

I cannot at all get Buzz's WaveIn machine to work. I tried messing around with the sound driver settings, but all I have are these audio drivers, and I can't get them to work.

I'm trying to be able to route my synth into the input on my computer, so I can use effects that way.

I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, and don't really know what I'm doing either. If it's possible, Id like to find some way to install a sound driver that works on my laptop so I can route external audio and process it into Buzz, which I've seen people do.

Btw, I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit.

For what you're wanting I think your best bet is to get the latest Polac stuff along with ASIO4ALL, then use Polac's ASIO and Polac Audio In.

You shouldn't be using Overloader, it's long dead.

I think the OP wants to use his computer inputs, not a file.

You're too quick! Ninja'd me before I caught my dumb didn't-read-the-whole-post-before-replying mistake.

I'm still completely lost because ASIO isn't showing up as an audio driver, even though I have it installed.

OK, but first things first - get rid of Overloader and get the latest Polac stuff.

I got rid of Overloader, now it doesn't work at all.

Never mind. All the new Polac stuff is installed, now that I reset Buzz on my computer. However, ASIO4All is still not showing up as a sound driver on my laptop.

ASIO4All doesn't show up as a Wave Output option in Buzz preferences. Choose Polac ASIO, apply, config -- see if ASIO4All is selected under 'device'
