Does anyone else have problems when using hard disk recorder to render (or record) one track at a time (by muting all tracks except the one to render)? I find that it moves at a snail pace and when in record mode stutters like crazy.
Does anyone else experience this problem? Any ideas for a solution?
I don't use multi track writer as I have read on the forums of people experiencing a few milliseconds at the start (I want everything exactly to the grid for editing in another DAW.
Thanks.
Rendering with tracks muted
Re: Rendering with tracks muted
Coincidentally, I just did this right before coming in here.
Usually the trick is to mute everything else, rather than using the solo function, but seeing that you're already doing that, I'm a bit puzzled. Rendering was pretty fast here (the UI is quite unresponsive while rendering.)
Did the resulting .wav file turn out okay?

Thanks
The wav files turned out fine. It's just that I'm building a live set....and I'm not looking to spending double the time to render each individual part.
I will double check that I'm not using the solo function...not 100% sure tbh....nice tip I will double check..
