peer ctrl crashing buzz

Post by esp81 »

I've finally got peer ctrl working after registering envelope.ocx, but it's crashing Buzz when I try and record anything into a pattern. It works fine at first but then just randomly freezes up. Anyone else having this problem?

Buzz build 1494, PeerCtrl 1.6

It's also not remembering the knob style in mixer gui, I have to keep selecting linear - vertical every time I open the mixer view.

I've not built PeerCtrl yet as it's one of the more complex plugins and it generally works fine. If you can give me some more detail about how you're using it, I might be able to look into why it freezes but no promises.

As for the knob mode thing, yeah, looks like it's not right. I might be able to do something about that, if I can build it.

It seems to only crash when using it on certain machines. (Jeskola Bass3 in this case)... Even when it doesn't crash I often get an error message after closing Buzz when using it though. What really confuses me though is that it sometimes records the pattern data into the machines it's assigned to, other times it records to the peer ctrl pattern.

I need more than that. Be very specific.
