Fuzzpilz and "rare" machines.

Post by Zwei Kreise »

Hi all !

Well first off as this is my first post on this forum a little bit of an introduction. I'm Alex, 23 y-o living in France, some (very few) of you may remember me as Axs which is my old alias as I used to be on the buzzchurch forums, and I believe there are still quite a few of my old and embarrassingly bad tracks available over at BuzzTunes which are always good for a laugh.

The fact of the matter is I haven't been active for a while in this community because I simply did not have access to Buzz, as I'm primarily a Mac user. But I have at long last been able to install a Windows 7 and the first thing I did was downloading Buzz, and so I can finally start using it again.

Thing is, back then I used a lot of machines by Fuzzpilz, and thankfully some are still available on the buzzmachines website, but his bicycle-for-slugs site is offline and there are still quite a few machines that I like to use that I simply haven't been able to find anywhere, namely the Bellerophon/Bellerophect, Hamstring, Octopus, the Oatmeal vst (which incomprehensibly I haven't been able to find a mirror of that one anywhere) and a slew of others (Moose, Granulichen, Verbiage, Amusing Coincidence, and I hope I'm getting all these names right)...

Does anyone have them ? Also, tangential but kind of related, does anybody know why his website is down ? (is he ok ?)

Anyways, looking forward to buzz again soon (already started a few BMXs). I'm not usually a prolific poster but I do read this forum a lot so, see you around !

I think I have the other ones on my home computer, but I'll have to check.

BTW, Oatmeal is my favorite synth of all time.

Here are 2 zips with all Fuzzpilz machines in my installation. Some obscure ones and some that are on Buzzmachines.
Fuzzpilz Effects
Fuzzpilz Generators

edit: not sure if all of them are up to date.

Thanks a lot guys !

And yes Oatmeal is my favorite VST synth period, it's been a blast to finally be able to use it again after a good few years without it.

@polac : I did not even know they archived files on the internet archive, I always assumed they only archived pictures and not downloadable content, but I'm glad to be proven wrong in this instance...

Hey Tinga  happy to see you too, it's been a while !

Yeah I'm seeing all the new stuff, it's almost overwhelming... But I'm so glad to finally be back with a software that doesn't jump to 40% cpu with three synths.
