So, I'm relatively new to using Unwieldy Tracker 2 (been using it for a little while, but haven't gotten around to exploring every aspect of it), and I'm trying to get the hang of some of the effects therein. Specifically right now I'm scratching my head over the volume slide functions. Can somebody please explain what the differences are between them, and what the parameter numbers represent exactly? I'm just trying to do a simple smooth fade in and a smooth fade out, and all I'm getting is either a mess or nothing at all, and I'm assuming this is because I'm just looking at it wrong.
Is there some kind of user guide for this machine somewhere?
The exact thing I'm trying to do is play the beginning of a sample on one track and the end of the same sample on another track, and sort of crossfade between them (so as to smoothly shorten the note while still getting the beginning and end of it), and I was planning on doing this by having the volume go down on one track and up on the other.

Re: Unwieldy Tracker 2 effect parameters?
if you right click and go to 'about' there is an explanation of all the effects . alot of them you understand are in relation to retriggering tho If memory serves effect 1A is a volume slide down and 1B is volume slide up (first two digits are amount in DB and the second two digits are amount of subticks it will reach that db by )
