new sequencer - grid like old sequencer

Post by szaszhareen »

I use the new sequencer pretty much exclusively, and the only thing i really miss from the old sequencer is that there are shaded lines on 0/64/128/256 etc.

has anyone found a way to implement this with a theme?

if not, would anyone else find this useful enough to join me in a feature request?

that's a good point. i started using it because i don't have to switch views when i'm making patterns. an option to switch it to vertical would be great as well since i don't often use all that horizontal space in pattern view.

it was wierd at first but i have really come to love the new sequencer. the colored pattern blocks are great, but the thing i miss the most is the shaded bars every few ticks. here's hoping for the best of both worlds in a future update.

is this (lack of bar/beat shading) something i could change with a theme if i tried, or should i just forget about it for now? I haven't messed around with themes at all but I have seen people here do some really impressive things with them. If this is possible, it is important enough to me that i'd dig further into wpf and see if i could figure out how to do it.
