Ok, this is going to be totally elementary and I'm embarrassed that I can't work it out, but.... I have a problem changing the samplerate on the WASAPI driver.
Generally I'd be happy running at 48k but I am working on a song that uses Arguelles Kpad, which seems to be hard-coded to 44100, obviously detuning it woefully. Ok, easy fix, change output of the driver to 44100. Except it never sticks!
Am I doing something stupid, or is there a way of changing the samplerate on the Kpad (that would be preferable, obviously)?
At the moment, I go into Preferences, select Config for the WASAPI driver, change samplerate to 44100 click OK. Nothing changes. I re-open the config window and it is back to 48k.
I have tried re-selecting WASAPI from the driver pulldown so that the 'Apply' button is no longer greyed out, changing the samplerate, hitting 'OK' then hitting apply and still no dice.
My system:
Buzz Build 1453
Intel Core 2 Duo T7300
4GB RAM
Windows 7 (64bit) (yay! I upgraded)
Onboard Realtek High Definition Audio (yeah, I know!)
Changing samplerate on WASAPI driver
Re: Changing samplerate on WASAPI driver
Try this:
-Right click on the speaker/volume control icon in the windows system tray.
-Select playback devices
-Double click on your soundcard output
-Click on the advanced tab
-Change default format to 24/16 bit 44100khz
Restart buzz and change settings again within buzz and see if that sticks.
